What can void a Pure Electric e-step warranty?

You will be unable to use your warranty if:

- The requested work is to repair consumable items that are not covered by warranty, including: tyres, inner tubes, brake cables, brake pads, grips, bungs, rubber footpads, and cosmetics (e.g., paint, decals, and stickers).
- The part submitted for repair or maintenance shows signs of misuse or handling contrary to the instructions in the user manual, including but not limited to inappropriate use, incorrect maintenance, improper storage, or signs of crash damage.
- The repair work is needed due to the e-step having been involved in an accident or due to reckless or intentional damage.
- The e-step has been opened, disassembled, or modified with non-licensed or non-official parts, and/or by an individual not qualified by Pure Electric.
- The requested work is to repair normal wear and tear, surface, or cosmetic damage.
- You do not have the original proof of purchase that validates the e-step's warranty.

For more information on your e-step warranty, please consult the user manual or the warranty information on this page.

Transferring your warranty

Unlike other brands, Pure Electrics warranty can be transferred to a new owner as long as proof or purchase is given to the new owner.

If you intend to transfer your warranty, please email service@moevs.com from the email address used to purchase confirming the order number (it looks like PS12345) with the name and contact details of the person to whom you would like to transfer the warranty.

Note: The warranty period remains the same from the date of original purchase

Registering your warranty

Pure Electric products are automatically registered under warranty beginning from the date of purchase, there is no requirement for you to do anything further.

In the UK, Pure Electrics E-Scooter warranty provides you with a 12-month protection against original defects in material and workmanship from the date of receipt.

How to find my serial number?

Your Pure Electric product has a unique identifier which we call the serial number. This is available on the box your scooter arrived in, on the product itself and via the Pure Electric App. For help on finding this on your product check the article below.

Are punctures covered by warranty?

No, punctures and tyres are not covered under the Pure Electric warranty.

All tyres (including those filled with puncture prevention fluid) are subject to wear and tear from factors beyond our control, such as surface conditions, the pressure you inflate them to, and how far they've been ridden.

This is no different to other forms of wheeled transport (like a bike) and just like those products, they are designed to be fixed by the rider or a local repair shop.

How to avoid punctures

  1. Check your tyre pressure every week and make sure your tyres are inflated to the recommended pressure. Pure Electric products should be filled to 36PSI.
  2. Fill your tyre / inner tube with puncture protection fluid, available from most bike stores.
Accessories warranty information

The warranty on accessories varies from product to product and not all accessories are covered under warranty.

The best place to find out if your product is covered under warranty is either in the user manual that came with the product, or to check the product page on our site, under the ‘Warranty’ tab.

If you are still unsure, please contact service@moevs.com and one of our customer team will be able to help you.
